Flip a critical seat from red to blue in McConnell’s backyard.

Critical Special Election Tuesday

Next week, there’s a special election on tap in a potentially decisive bellwether area of Kentucky – right down the road from Mitch McConnell’s house.

Democratic candidate Dr. Karen Berg is fighting in a tough state Senate district: It favored Trump by more than a dozen points in 2016, but then it swung hard to the left last fall to help Democrats flip the Kentucky governorship from red to blue.

Now, we have a chance to flip this seat, too, and send the message that McConnell himself could be next – right on the eve of the toughest re-election fight of his career.

If Democrats want to STOP the most destructive Senate leader in history this November, we must rally behind candidates like Dr. Berg to capture swing seats all across the nation. We only have a few days left to mobilize voters, and we need every Democrat on board.

A Democratic win on Tuesday would be especially important after state Republicans voted to impose one of the strictest voter suppression laws in the country. The law requires every voter to have a Republican-approved ID to vote – but because of the global health crisis, only a few ID-issuing offices are open.

Kentucky Republicans aren’t hiding the fact that they’re using a health crisis to try to suppress the vote. But if we mobilize immediately for special elections like this one, we can stop Republicans in their tracks and finally end GOP voter suppression schemes for good.

Will you join us in fighting to flip seats like this one? Pitch in $10 now to help state Democrats mobilize for key races everywhere and send Mitch McConnell a message he won’t forget.

Thanks,
