Our narrow 1-seat Democratic majority in the PA House faces another special election test on May 16.
In Delaware County’s competitive 163rd District, we’re supporting Democrat Heather Boyd!
As the founder of the Delaware County Chapter of the National Organization of Women, she’ll defend reproductive rights.
And as a former school board member, teacher, and public school parent, she’ll fight for fair funding and against right-wing extremism in education.
Katie, our majority in the PA State House is on the line.
We also need volunteers to call Democratic voters and urge them to turn their mail ballots in. Sign up to make calls here – training and support is provided over Zoom!
Boyd is the chair of the Upper Darby Democratic Committee, and has extensive government experience as district director for Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon and former chief of staff for State Rep. Leanne Kreuger.
While the 163rd District is Democratic-leaning, we can’t take anything for granted in an unpredictable special election.
Reproductive rights, public schools, and Democratic control of the PA House is on the ballot May 16.
Have some time to make calls? Join volunteers nationwide at our virtual phone banks. We’re getting together on Zoom and urging Democrats to turn mail ballots in.
Thanks for your support!
