September 10, 2021

This week’s BADASS Briefing includes the following:

  • Calls to Action for California and to March October 2
  • Events to ensure we #KeepVABlue and #GrowVABluer

Contact California Voters to Stop the Recall

Everything we are working for (including Biden’s ability to appoint federal judges) would be lost if Dianne Feinstein died while a Republican is Governor of CA. At this point, the loss of any Democratic governor is a potential disaster with only a one-vote margin in the Senate, but Feinstein’s age makes CA particularly vulnerable. 538 has Newsom below 50% and today only ahead by 1.2%. Even well-educated Democratic Californians are complacent. They get much more interested in voting for Newsom when Feinstein’s age and the vulnerability of the Senate is pointed out to them.

Please ask your California connections if they use any social media, to blast out messages on their social media reminding people to vote in the recall and that with Dianne Feinstein 88 keeping Newsom in office is super important. Please remind others to make the same ask of their California connections.

Phonebank, texting, and more opportunities (including Spanish language phoning).

Let’s March on October 2.

Let’s raise our voices and be heard for reproductive freedom.
