Read The Report

It’s jam-packed with everything you need to know about the upcoming election from the perspective of people like you, who know that it’s state legislative races where we can make a difference. So what can you find in there?

  • State election projections—with data down to the county level
Our VARUN prediction model projects how states will vote down to the county level based on national demographic shifts in voting patterns. We show you what it’ll take to flip state chambers from Florida and Texas.
  • What’s at stake in state legislatures—Previews of fair congressional district maps
Many of you have a keen interest in what will happen in congressional redistricting after this election cycle. Well, we decided to show you what you’ll be fighting for—previews of what fair election maps look like. Of course, it’s only possible if state lawmakers make fair maps the law.

  • Everything you need to know about the electorate—the patchwork made up of thousands of state legislative races  We’re focused on state lawmakers, and one advantage is that state races are often ignored bellwethers of everything on the ballot, from statewide contests to the electoral college. Have you heard of the Disco Stu Fallacy? You want to know about the Disco Stu Fallacy.

So yes, please make sure you take a look!  And if you have any questions, you know where to find me.
