Today, DemCast is partnering with groups like the Declaration for American Democracy, Meidas Touch, the Democratic Coalition & many more to make a lot of noise on social media, and we need you to join in.

We know the odds look long for getting voting rights passed, but this isn’t over yet.

Action items:

  • Click on our toolkit and send out some social media posts! It’s so easy.
  • On Twitter, we’re trying to trend the hashtag #BeAHeroForVotingRights. Join in and amplify!
  • Send an email to both your Senators using this simple form. It takes 2 minutes.

Feeling like all hope is lost? Listen to Nick’s conversation yesterday with DFAD Executive Director Jana Morgan, Noelle Damico from Worker’s Circle and Barbara Arnwine & Daryl Jones of the Transformative Justice Coalition. It was really inspiring!

The next few days will be very consequential.

Thanks for all you do.

DemCast is an advocacy-based 501(c)4 nonprofit. We have made the decision to build a media site free of outside influence. There are no ads. We do not get paid for clicks, but are sustained solely on donations from grassroots supporters. Because our revenue isn’t click-driven, we don’t take in any direct revenue from the creative contributions of grassroots activists who post on the site. This sets us apart from other media sites. And we’re proud of that.
