Last Week in DemCast, November 29–December 5

Well, we made it to December. President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris are busy with the transition to sanity in government, while lame-duck Trump continues to have superspreader rallies and claim (with no evidence) that the election was rigged.

We’d like to hide under the covers until January 20, 2021, when Joe Biden becomes our president, but as long as there is a need for “Truth, Justice and the American Way,” DemCast will keep publishing stories that bring us closer to that goal.

Last week we looked at Daniel Blackman, who is in a state runoff in Georgia, the needs of working families, the connection between Georgia Senator David Perdue and private equity, Trump’s epic failures in court and the rising toll of Coronavirus cases due to selfishness (with a poetry reading by Samuel L. Jackson). If you missed these, or any of the other stories that were published Last Week in DemCast, here’s your chance to catch up.

DemCast is an advocacy-based 501(c)4 nonprofit. We have made the decision to build a media site free of outside influence. There are no ads. We do not get paid for clicks, but are sustained solely on donations from grassroots supporters. Because our revenue isn’t click-driven, we don’t take in any direct revenue from the creative contributions of grassroots activists who post on the site. This sets us apart from other media sites. And we’re proud of that.
