Last Week in DemCast

1 min read

We saw quite a few memorable things happen this week, the Senate passed the Infrastructure Bill and the $3.5 Trillion plan. This past week in DemCast, we learned about a message we can tell our Republican neighbors in CA about the recall election of Governor Newsom, written by our own Co-Director of Content, Mindy Schwartz. We also talk about why California needs to vote no on the recall. Trumpstaxes comes to us with this piece.

Pirate Equity is a big deal on Wall Street, Main Street is being decimated, and Carter Dougherty writes about this.

Laurie Woodward Garcia and Ana Anselmo comes to us about who protects our children while they’re in school, especially in Florida. How do we fight misinformation? Tokyo Sand tells us about why we need to attend School Board meetings. Karim A. Salaheddine speaks to us about how vaccine mandates are pro-democracy. Lastly, why do a liar and his followers have our teachers in schools worrying about COVID-19 spreading? Sari Beth Rosenberg takes a look at this.

Please enjoy this week’s issue of Last Week in DemCast!

DemCast is an advocacy-based 501(c)4 nonprofit. We have made the decision to build a media site free of outside influence. There are no ads. We do not get paid for clicks, but are sustained solely on donations from grassroots supporters. Because our revenue isn’t click-driven, we don’t take in any direct revenue from the creative contributions of grassroots activists who post on the site. This sets us apart from other media sites. And we’re proud of that.
