A Very Special Announcement
From Mavis Brauer, Chair of Prescott Indivisible
Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th President of the United States. Mission accomplished! Indivisible, and specifically Prescott Indivisible, was created to get Trump out of the White House.
It is time to celebrate! It’s time to celebrate our victory and all of our hard work over the past 4 years. For that I am grateful to all of you who stepped forward and
- worked on the Judy Stahl, John Lutes, Delina DeSanto campaigns
- phone banked,
- texted and wrote postcards,
- spoke to friends about voting,
- made contributions,
- and all of the other many, many ways that you showed up.
Thank you!
But it’s not yet time to rest completely. Trump is still making a fuss and he needs to be kept in check. Protect the Results is standing at the ready for whatever arises, although it’s looking like there’s less of a threat. All you have to do is check your news sources to know that there are a lot of opinions about that.
Our job right now is to hold steady and move forward. There’s more work ahead of us. But for now — let’s celebrate!

Initial Statements from President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris
President-Elect Biden has issued a statement after the calling of victory for the Biden/Harris Ticket. On social media Mr. Biden wrote:
“America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”
Vice President-Elect Harris also wrote:
“This election is about so much more than Joe Biden or me. It’s about the soul of America and our willingness to fight for it. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Let’s get started.”
The Campaign released an additional statement which read:
“I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice President-elect Harris. In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted. Proving once again, that democracy beats deep in the heart of America. With the campaign over, it’s time to put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation. It’s time for America to unite. And to heal. We are the United States of America. And there’s nothing we can’t do if we do it together.”
The Biden/Harris Campaign also released the following video to commemorate American Inclusiveness, thank the people for entrusting them with the Presidency, and where they would like to take the country. CLICK HERE
