In just a few hours, a key vote could decide the fate of the U.S. Postal Service.
In the wake of Donald Trump’s recent admission that he was sabotaging the USPS in order to meddle with Americans’ vote-by-mail ballots, House Democrats are expected to reconvene and vote TODAY on a measure that will provide necessary funding for the Postal Service.
Funding the USPS has never been more critical, which is why Democrats are leading the fight to keep this vital agency open. But before this critical vote is cast, they urgently need your support.
Before the vote begins, sign on if you support House Democratic efforts to fully fund the US Postal Service:
Make no mistake: The USPS and its more than 600,000 postal workers are essential.
But rather than saving this beloved agency, Trump is hoping an underfunded USPS paired with attacks on vote-by-mail will help him steal the 2020 elections. That’s despicable.
There’s still time to save the USPS. If this bill passes, it’ll pave the way to fund the Postal Service AND protect vote-by-mail just in time for the election. But with just hours before the vote, we MUST speak out immediately.
