🚨POLL ALERT🚨

new poll released on Thursday from Impact Research shows Tim Ryan leading California Vance 48-46.

The poll also shows Tim Ryan’s favorables are +11 while JD’s favorables are underwater by -11. It’s not hard to imagine why Ohioans dislike a carpetbagger who made millions off of a disingenuous book that made fun of them.

But if there’s a chance you’re still wondering, here is a thread of Amazon reviews for the JD’s book.

Control of the U.S. Senate is going to come down to Ohio. Click here to help ensure Tim defeats Vance this November.

JD’s Dumpster Fire Campaign

A newly uncovered interview reveals that JD Vance said, “There’s something comparable between abortion and slavery… it has this morally distorting effect on the entire society.”

The only thing distorted about Ohio is JD Vance, Dave Yost, Mike DeWine, and the rest of the clowns running our state government.

When asked last fall about including exceptions in cases of rape and incest in abortion bans, he replied that “two wrong[s] don’t make a right” and called rape “inconvenient.”

Redistricting Split

Frank LaRose is wasting MORE of your tax-payer dollars on an unprecedented and unnecessary second primary. Because he and his fellow Republicans broke the law by ignoring the Ohio Supreme Court 5 times AND the wishes of Ohio voters (via two amendments to the Ohio constitution) YOU are now on the hook to pay for Frank’s mistakes.

All of this is on top of the more than $30 million dollars Ohioans are already paying for the redistricting chaos created by Republicans. Add it to the corruption tab Frank and Mike are putting on your checkbook.

WTF?

After rushing to implement a six-week abortion ban just hours after the Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe, Ohio’s Republican Attorney General went on Fox News this week to  question a 10-year-old rape victim who was forced to travel to another state for an abortion.

Hours later, after Yost did a bunch of interviews casting doubt on the case, her rapist was arrested after confessing.

Rather than apologize, Yost doubled down on his claims. Yost is disgusting and clearly has no shame.

We must do everything we can to elect Jeff Crossman to be Ohio’s next Attorney General.

Dettelbach Confirmed

Cleveland’s own Steve Dettelbach was confirmed to lead the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Dettelbach was confirmed by a 48-46 Senate vote to become the first confirmed head of the agency in 7 years.

At a time when the nation’s gun violence epidemic is plaguing the nation, we could not be in better hands. Congrats, Steve.

Rocky Republican Road

Speaking of guns, Mike DeWine continues to fail the citizens of Ohio every day. He’s more worried about helping his friends in the gun lobby than women in Ohio, including victims of incest and rape, who he’s blocked from access to critical reproductive healthcare.

Cartoonist Kevin Necessary nailed it in his most recent cartoon.

Nan Whaley knows we can build a better Ohio and will fight for your right to safety. Help her here.

Until Next Week

Summer is here and time is ticking for us to win this November.

We have a lot of work to do to get more field organizers on the ground in every corner of the state. We have offices to open, phones banks to hold, canvasses to launch, and of course – thousands of unregistered Democrats to register by Election Day. To do this, we need your help and we need it now. Please consider contributing as much as you can to help build the infrastructure needed to win.

If you’re unsure about how much you can still contribute to help us win in November and beyond, simply reply to this email. My team will respond with what you can still do to help us grow the team.

As always, thank you for standing with us. We are so grateful for your incredible support.

I hope to see you out on the campaign trail,
