Now that we are in October, we are reminded how close the November 2022 elections are. Last month, political strategist Dan Pfeiffer stressed the importance of early donations to our Democratic candidates and how crucial monthly donations are, for they allow campaigns to plan ahead. The Virginia state-level elections, our opportunity to strengthen Democratic leadership in that state, are four weeks away and we’re building our base in the Central Valley. There’s a lot you can do now. Read on for details…
Virtual Reception with Josh Harder in 2 Days!
Wednesday, October 13th at 5:00pm PT
Keeping Josh in Congress is essential to keeping the House Blue. California’s 10th Congressional District is at the top of the Republicans list to flip the House back in 2022. It will be one of the toughest races in the country.
But there’s still time to donate and attend our Zoom event in partnership with SL South Bay, SL Marin, SL San Francisco, and SL Santa Cruz. We’ll hear from Josh about his challenges and plans for the future!

VoterPAC Fundraiser – Next Steps!
Thanks to many of you, the September 16th fundraiser for VoterPAC has now reached $27,000 giving them the funds they need to implement their plans through December.
VoterPac aims to register 25,000 new voters, flip CA-21 blue in 2022, and ultimately flip the area that is now CA 22 and 23.
– Next week, VoterPAC will launch Democracy Labs’ technology to reach unregistered households in the CA-21 region
– VoterPAC plans to release this technology to other groups that want to register voters.
– Women Unlimited is expanding their voter registration push for Kings County.
There’s still time to donate to this worthwhile effort!

Dan Pfeiffer gives a great assessment of what’s going on politically now, including the gamesmanship in D.C. The “High Potential Voters” training improves our conversational skills, whether the conversation is with the person who answered the phone when you made a political call or with your friend or neighbor who sees the world differently from you.
