It’s time for the Allegan Dems annual Pickle Street potluck! Our speaker is Ken Freestone, who will teach us about composting!

October 19th – Mark LaChey, 1st Vice Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party
Allegan’s very own Mark LaChey will give us a State Party update.
November 16th – Julie Rogers, State Representative 60th District
State Representative, Julie Rogers, represents the city of Kalamazoo and she will update us on legislation in the Michigan House.
December 21st – It’s time to party! Join us for our annual Holiday Party with guest speaker The Honorable Elizabeth Welch, Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court. We are in the process of selecting a venue. We are planning on hors d’oeuvres with dessert to keep the cost down.

The fair starts in 26 days!!! Uncle Sam and our Word cloud will make a stunning back drop. Now we need Democrats to staff our booth and talk to folks. Please check your schedule and commit to a couple shifts! We made the shifts 4 hours this year, which is nice – but it means we have more shifts to fill. The shifts are 10a-2p, 2-6p, 6-10p.
