It was another banner week for the USA.
As we sifted through the fallout from the 1.6.21 Attack, Republicans — many of whom stoked or outright incited the rightwing militants with their deeds and words — called out for “unity.” These were the same people who supported Trump’s Big Lie and tried to quell the will of the people. But we were having none of it. Joined by 10 of their colleagues from the other side of the aisle, Democrats in the House of Representatives impeached Donald Trump for a landmark second time. This bipartisan group actually exemplified unity in their demands to hold the complicit to account. We hope that this opportunity to finally make the country a place of liberty and justice for all is not lost in all the chaos.
