To Our Amazing Volunteers: We cannot express how grateful we are for all the incredible things that you have accomplished during this campaign season. Together, you managed to hang over 60,000 door hangers on doors in every neighborhood in Charleston County. You sent tens of thousands text messages and called nearly 13,000 voters. You delivered signs and drove voters to polling locations and convinced hundreds of Democrats on Election Day to text three of their friends to vote. You sent thank you notes and you helped out in our brand new, permanent office on Ashley River Road where we made big things happen. You welcomed guests – including our next Vice President – to our biggest Blue Jamboree ever.

You helped deliver more votes for Democrats in Charleston County than in any past election cycle. And because of what you accomplished, we elected our first Democratic sheriff in a GENERATION, let alone South Carolina’s FIRST EVER female sheriff. We picked up a new state house seat and a new county council seat and successfully defended every single state and county office that was held by a Democrat.

Because of your hard work, we have a foundation for success that will only grow with each and every election here in Charleston. We have a permanent home, we quadrupled our volunteer list and have over 10,000 subscribers to our weekly newsletter. You should be incredibly proud of all you’ve done and for all of this, we say thank you. We literally couldn’t have done any of it without you and we can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together moving forward!

With gratitude,

The CCDP Leadership Team
