Time to get out the vote!

GOTV came early this year, but we’ve got you covered. Our new weekly GOTV guide lists canvasses, phone banks, text banks, and letter-writing actions in support of progressive candidates all across the state. This is arguably the most important election in modern history, with the White House and the U.S. Senate on the line and majorities to protect in the U.S. House and Maine Legislature. When the polls close on Nov. 3, you need to know you did everything you could to bring the change we desperately need in the White House and U.S. Senate. Our GOTV guide will help with that! The list is organized by county, includes actions from a number of different groups, and will be updated each Friday between now and Nov. 3. Take a look now for GOTV actions scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10 through Friday, Oct. 16 and sign up! Find the guide HERE.

Let’s do this!

Suit Up Maine is a statewide, all-volunteer, progressive, grassroots group of more than 5,400 Mainers that seeks to create and foster a more informed and engaged electorate. We raise awareness of and advocate for policies and legislation that promote equity and equality in civil rights, social justice, health care, the environment, education, the economy, and other areas that affect the lives of all people. We are beholden to issues and action, not parties or politicians, and we aren’t engaged in fundraising. Suit Up Maine fosters collaboration among our state’s progressive groups and organizations to collectively connect, educate, and motivate Mainers to rise in non-violent resistance to a regressive agenda.
