Grammy Award-Winner Charlton Singleton to Kick Off Blue Jam
Two weeks ago, we talked about how we are taking Blue Jam online this year due to COVID – and how it was still going to be insanely awesome. Well, today, we have some exciting updates about how awesome it will be! We start every Blue Jam with our national anthem and we are so excited to share that this year’s Blue Jamboree will kick off with the “Star-Spangled Banner” performed by legendary musician Charlton Singleton.
We also have a brand new landing page for Blue Jam 2020. Here you can get your tickets, order your Blue Jam swag, and sign up to be a sponsor. Additionally, you can see all of the awesome special guests we have announced *so far*! There is even a countdown to Blue Jam 2020 on the page, ramping up the excitement we know is coursing through your veins!
BUT WAIT , THERE’S MORE…
We have some AMAZING speakers that we can’t wait to announce. Keep checking our social media channels to be the first to find out about all of our special guests.
The event will broadcast live on YouTube Live, Facebook Live and the CCDP website at 7PM on Thursday, October 8. While it might be virtual, we think it may just be the best Blue Jam ever!
A Reminder About Doorhangers
As a reminder of last week’s newsletter, CCDP will distribute 60,000 door hangers with election day info to Democratic voters in Charleston County. Can you help build the turf kits or hang the door hangers?
