Today, we are surviving an illegal Republican Convention, a catastrophic hurricane, wildfires, a raging pandemic, and the aftermath of the attempted murder of Jacob Blake by racist Kenosha police, compounded by the murder of two BLM protesters by a young Trump-inspired white supremacist. If you’re having trouble dealing with this, you are not alone. Cry. Breathe. Meditate or pray or reach out to a loved one. Find your center, your peace, your quiet, unshakable resolve. And decide again to help build power for human policies that will make this world better one step at a time. This week, we offer many opportunities to work for concrete electoral change, from phone banks to text banks to our uplifting fundraising events. With 68 days left, it has never been more painfully urgent to evict this racist president and his posse of hatemongering traitors from our government.

FIGHTING THE PURGE!
We’re using the momentum from Voterizer’s incredibly successful launch (see below) to power us into a Weekend of Action! Republicans have been purging registered voters from the rolls, without those voters realizing what’s happened until it’s too late. To fight that, we will attempt to reach 200,000 purged voters in our battleground states this weekend! And you are showing up in force! Almost 1,000 of you have signed up, filling every single text bank slot available. Breathtaking!! (And fear not – there are many more opportunities after this weekend. Sign up below!) To recognize this tremendous effort, after you’ve sent your texts and helped save democracy, kick back and celebrate with your fellow volunteers at our invitation-only Happy Hour on Sunday night, where you’ll be the first to hear how many people we got re-registered!
