Meet the Turn PA Blue candidates running against Team Koch:
Nicole Miller (PA-HD87) is running in memory of her son, who died by suicide. She’s running to improve Pennsylvania’s mental health systems, and to fully fund trauma-informed public schools.
Janet Diaz (PA-SD13) is a Lancaster City Councilwoman who works at a hospital as a Stroke Quality Registrar Analyst at a hospital. She believes health care is a human right.
George Scott (PA-SD15) has followed a lifelong call to serve, first in the Army for 20 years, and now as a pastor. George is running to flip an Obama/Trump swing seat.
Brittney Rodas (PA-HD105) is a Young Democrat and mother of two toddlers. Her opponent hid a positive coronavirus test from Democratic colleagues.
Peter Buck (PA-HD171) works with Penn State’s Sustainability Institute. He helped build the state’s largest solar power purchase agreement and is running against a pro-fracking Republican.
Charles Koch’s running scared because Republicans are in serious danger of losing both the PA Senate and House this year.
