The last 100 days: Go Time

Remember Individual Number One’s first 100 days in office? The size of his inauguration crowd? The Muslim ban? The Keystone Pipeline? The tax cuts for the rich? And how about this memorabble ttweett: “How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!”

We thought things were bad then. If only we knew!

That’s when we came together to start Blue Beginning and the other grassroots groups that make up Indivisible Chicago. And now, finally, we’ve arrived at our destination. The election we set out to win is fewer than 100 days away. It’s Go Time: time for him to go, time for us to get going.

You know what to do. This is what you signed up for.

We meet again! Join us for Blue Monday

Back before the Covid, we would gather on Friday evenings at the Hideout, the coolest bar in town, for a monthly happy hour/salon with reporters, candidates, and political insiders. Remember? Blue Friday, we called it.

Today we’re happy to announce that we’re bringing it back, as part of our effort to recruit and activate the hundreds of volunteers we’ll need for the final push to November 3. We’ve changed the day—it’s Blue Monday now—and you’ll have to bring your own beverage, but we’ll have the same well-informed guests, the same casual vibe, and the same excellent company. Plus music! And Tom Moss, producer and host of the Indivisible Chicago Podcast, helping Marj to master the ceremonies  on a live feed from the virtual version of our beloved Hideout headquarters.
