Recreating a blue wave in Texas and beyond starts with Tuesday’s special election

A special election this Tuesday could play a key role in breaking the GOP’s multi-decade stranglehold on the state of Texas.

In 2018, Texas Democrats pulled to within a few seats of ending Republican control of the legislature, and this week’s special election would keep a must-win seat in the blue column as we challenge the Republican majorities this fall.
