Actions You Can Take This Week

Wisconsin Dems
Time Sensitive Action!

The Wisconsin Dems Bridge-Building campaign identifies persuadable voters and contacts them to discuss their top issues and, hopefully, ID them as Dems. These conversations are not oriented around candidates, partisan asks, or commitments to vote, so our conversations will tend to be more positive. These phone calls will be especially important before the August 11th primary. This is a perfect opportunity for stay-at-home canvassers to use their communication skills!

Sierra Club is looking for texting volunteers!

This campaign is currently texting into Florida and asking folks if they’ll commit to voting for Biden, and if so will they volunteer and/or remind 3 friends to vote. If they finish Florida this week, they plan to move into other battleground states immediately.

They use Hustle to text and Slack for communication and support. They also ask people to sign up for texting shifts using Mobilize so the team leaders know whom to assign workflows.

If you’ve texted with the Club before use, slide over to their Slack workspace.

Arizona Voters
Time Sensitive Action!

We have 10,000 addresses that need pens in many hands.

We just received word that the deadline for our new postcard drive to Arizona voters has changed. These postcards encourage voters to check their registration and join the Permanent Early Voting List and MUST be mailed by July 18 in order to arrive with enough time for voters to take action.

Action sign up here.

This is just a sign of things to come. You can expect postcard drives and phone bank and texting campaigns to be added/removed/shifted from now until the election (in fact, we are expecting that postcards may end around the end of September, TBD). Reclaim Our Vote and other organizations will expect us to be flexible and nimble. Our mighty team will, of course, deliver.
