These attacks kicked off when Donald Trump called Gov. Whitmer “that woman from Michigan” and incited his base against her.
Then it escalated when GOP lawmakers tried to reduce Gov. Whitmer’s emergency powers – at a time when she’s working courageously to protect Michiganders from the global health crisis.
