Californians: Get In Formation to Flip the Senate Blue

/
2 mins read

There are good people fighting for a better tomorrow, day in and day out, and many of them (maybe you) live in states represented by the Senators who betrayed their oath by acquitting Trump.

Our red-state Resistors are overworked and under-resourced, yet they persist. But they cannot reach all the voters we need to win this election. They need our help.

Our volunteer opportunities have ramped up, and it’s time to sign up, spread the word, and make an impact. Check out our Mobilize America page for dozens of opportunities to get involved – texting, phone banking, postcarding, canvassing, and registering voters in Arizona and Colorado.

Looking at the work before us, it can be overwhelming, but every journey begins with a single step, and every complicated task is manageable when you break it down, prioritize, focus, and get to work.

Day by day. Voter by voter. Contact by contact. Ignore the sideshows. Focus on what’s important.

As Leonard Cohen sang: There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.

Let’s bring the light.

Join us. Recruit others. Fight back. We are many. I believe that we will win.

During the 2018 election, Flip the West, then known as Flip the 14, made more than 1.5 million voters with allied organizations and helped flip seven House seats in California. We're now taking the fight to the U.S. Senate and White House. Our goal: a chance at American renewal with a Democratic President, Democratic Senate Majority, and Democratic House Majority. Our role: to work with other blue wave, labor, and progressive organizations to reach and turnout the voters we need to win.
