Featured Guest Will Be Congressman Joe Kennedy III; All Presidential Campaigns Competing In The Ohio Primary Have Been Invited To Speak
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Democratic Party will hold its annual Legacy Dinner at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Sunday, March 15 — two days before the state’s presidential primary, when 136 Democratic National Convention pledged delegates will be up for grabs — with Congressman Joe Kennedy III set to speak as a featured guest.
“We are thrilled to be kicking off primary week as thousands of Ohio Democrats will come together for our annual Legacy Dinner,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “The surge of grassroots energy we saw this fall at the Democratic debate in Westerville and at our congressional district caucuses is continuing to build, and as the primary heats up, Ohio will once again be a critical state on the road to the nomination. Sixty years after his great-uncle, John F. Kennedy, won the White House, Ohio Democrats are proud to welcome Congressman Joe Kennedy III as our featured guest, and we look forward to hearing from additional speakers, who will be announced in the coming weeks.”
All the presidential candidates competing in the Ohio primary have been invited to speak.
