In 2020, Donald Trump won more votes in the presidential election than any other candidate in Ohio’s history.
Fast forward to today, where Democrats in the Senate are holding on to the majority by a razor-thin margin and one of two senators who could decide Senate control in 2024 – our very own Sherrod Brown – is up for reelection. There’s no doubt that this is cause for concern. Our Senate majority is on the line.
But after this past year, we believe the tides are changing. We turned out voters in historic numbers in the August special election while Republican leaders were actively trying to silence our voices. And we overwhelmingly voted to protect reproductive rights in our state constitution.
