Winning North Carolina Starts with Mecklenburg County
This month, Lean Left is supporting the newly reinvigorated NC Democratic Party and the Mecklenburg Dems. Our month of giving will culminate in a special event.
The young, dynamic new leaders of the North Carolina and Mecklenburg County Democratic parties have a plan for 2024: (1) Build statewide grassroots operations in all 100 counties, and (2) Reach every corner of Dem-rich Mecklenburg County, which has one of the lowest turnout rates in North Carolina.
With an eye on 2024 and the support of donors like you, this project can build the power to keep a Democrat in the Governor’s mansion, break the Republican supermajority control of the legislature, win North Carolina for President Biden, and set the stage to flip the Republicans’ most vulnerable US Senate Seat in 2026.
With more than 330,000 registered Democrats, “If Meck County . . . turns out in 2024, NC goes blue,” says U.S. Rep. Jeff Jackson.
