First, we will hear how to message about complicated, important issues.
Tim Cywinski (Communications Director) and Paige Wesselink (Digital Outreach Coordinator) from the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter will share their strategy for making climate issues understandable, relatable, and actionable.
Vanessa Borg (Loudoun Organizer, Freedom Virginia) and Jenaya Moore (Richmond Organizer, Freedom Virginia) will share how personal stories about affordable housing and healthcare can touch legislators and voters.
Rose Fabia, a local canvassing treasure, will share how she makes talking to voters a gift she gives herself and voters.
We will end with TikTok sensation Jessica Craven who successfully uses short TikTok videos as a training tool to message about important topics.
