Today is the last day of the Savings Rate for the 7th Annual Women’s Summit. Don’t miss this opportunity and get your tickets now. We encourage members to check it out by 1) clicking on the link; https://vagoodgovscorecard.org/, 2) check if their candidates have filled in the scorecard, if not 3) click on contact and ask them via twitter/email to fill it in (sample text in twitter/email). We also hope that grassroots groups share the Scorecard with their members. Questions: nancyruthmorgan@gmail.com
We did such a great job stopping the Mountain Valley Pipeline, they had to get an act of Congress to try to complete the project! While the Dirty Deal was a gut punch, we are still in a good position to finally defeat this pipeline by taking the fight to Wall St. Find out how and why we will defeat the MVP by reading Wall St. needs to cancel the Mountain Valley PIpeline that was published in Today’s EJ magazine on page 47.
- CTA 1 – Contact Senate Finance Chair Ron Wyden (202-224-5244, email) and your member of Congress to ask for a financial investigation of the MVP.
- CTA 2 – If you are a shareholder in NextEra Energy, Con Edison, Alta Gas, Equitrans Midstream or RGC Resources, contact their shareholder services to ask them to cancel the project and then contact the SEC to ask for the project to be investigated.
