We need to fill you in on everything that happened this week, so let’s jump right in.

Also, what do you think of that new logo?!

We have some exciting news! Frontline Candidate Greg Landsman (OH-1) will be in Columbus on Wednesday, June 28th for an evening reception!

The Big Scoop

Ohio Democrats have proudly teamed up with the “One Person, One Vote” Coalition and are surging full steam ahead in our Get Out The Vote efforts for the August Special Election. To date, we’ve trained 125 volunteer canvassing leaders and have made 1367 calls to Ohioans all over the state!

Door knocking starts THIS WEEKEND and will continue until August 8th.

Join the fight for our rights!

Become a canvassing volunteer lead! If you are willing to consistently knock doors two shifts a week and train volunteers to knock doors that attend your shifts, go ahead and sign up for a Volunteer Leadership Training! You only need to attend one training to get started.

Can’t commit to hosting two canvassing shifts per week but still want to knock doors? Sign up on the canvassing interest form! A volunteer leader from your area will reach out shortly to get you plugged into their canvassing efforts.

Unable to canvas and would rather call voters to get out the word about the August special election? Sign up for one of our phonebanks! After attending a training you will be ready to make calls at any time that fits your schedule.

Thank you to the hundred of volunteers across the state (and country) that have already helped in our efforts. We can’t do this work without all of you!

Sprinkle on Some Fun

Ohio Democrats are looking forward to gathering on Saturday, July 15th, and we’re thrilled that activist, reproductive rights champion, and former President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards will be joining the event!

Tickets are ON SALE NOW. We hope you will join us for a fun afternoon with our Democratic stars!

Add Some NUTS

There’s never a dull week in the ever changing Republican U.S. Senate primary, and boy do we have some updates for you all!

First up, GOP Congressman Warren Davison announced that he will not seek the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. It’s clear this GOP primary campaign is too messy for even the messiest of Republicans and they’re not interested in the Republican cage-match we’ll see for the next year.

TBD if Frank LaRose or other Republicans will throw their hats in the ring, making the nastiest Senate primary in the country even messier.

Speaking of Fraudulent Frank…when he’s not busy mailing out sketchy sollicitations of funds, apparently he’s occupied with toeing the lines of campaign finance laws.

Come on, I don’t call him Fraudulent Frank for nothing!

Stay tuned as Matt Dolan, Bernie Moreno and maybe some others brawl their way to the finish line of what is sure to be a bruising primary election.
