Saluting those who made the ultimate sacrifice

Good morning!

Rogan’s List will be interrupting our usual action items today as we honor all those who gave their lives for the United States, all it stands for and all its promises.

Instead we will recommend rereading Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, our great national call to show our gratitude for their sacrifice by recommiting ourselves to the struggle for a more perfect union. We can also learn more about the history of Memorial Day and its earliest celebrations by freed slaves burying Union soldiers in Charleston, South Carolina in 1865 here.

We encourage you to take this day to ensure you and everyone can take advantage of the freedom and democracy so many died for. You can check your voter registration at this link, and sign up to help register your fellow Americans here.

We’ll be back at it tomorrow. Proud to be in this fight with you.
