In case you missed it, Erica: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced Marcy Kaptur as a Frontline House Member, which means she’s set to face a tough race in 2024.
Already, Marcy is facing two Republican opponents. And it’s clear National Republicans are ready to spend whatever it takes to defeat her.
Erica, Marcy is a proven fighter for families, workers, and businesses in Northwest Ohio. She has always been a champion for holding Wall Street accountable, ensuring access to health care for all, and restoring our Great Lakes economy and environment. But she needs our help to prepare for any attacks National Republicans throw her way.
That’s why I’m asking:Â Will you make a split contribution of $5 or more between Ohio Democrats and Representative Marcy Kaptur right now to help protect this seat and fight back against dark-money Republicans?
If we’re going to hold this frontline district and reclaim the House majority, Democrats like Marcy will need our support. That means investing early and often to ensure Democrats have the resources they need to run winning campaigns.
With just a narrow five-seat Republican majority in the House, National Republicans know that flipping frontline swing seats like hers is going to be critical to holding onto their razor-thin majority. We can’t let them defeat her.
