DeWine thinks Ohioans will forget where he stands on reproductive freedom.

1 min read

Friends,

For a long time, Mike DeWine was proud to advertise himself as “the most pro-life governor in Ohio history.” But now that Ohioans have made it clear that they believe in a woman’s right to choose, DeWine has publicly backtracked on his extremist promises to strip women of their rights – and has even removed all mentions of abortions on his official website.

We refuse to let Governor DeWine get away with trying to hide his extremist views. He does not now, nor will he ever have what it takes to fight for Ohioans. Just because he’s scrubbed his website of abortion, doesn’t mean we’ll forget what he’s said – and done – to strip us of our fundamental rights.

We have the power to protect reproductive rights here in Ohio. This November, Ohioans will take their outrage to the polls and defeat the extremist Republicans who gutted our freedom to choose.

If you’re committed to defeating extremists like Mike DeWine and electing pro-choice leaders like Nan Whaley in Ohio, chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to help us continue the fight before November.

Thank you,

The Ohio Democratic Party
