Can you feel the energy?
That’s the Democrats on the ground getting ready to save democracy! We are ignoring the people who are trying to make us believe that we cannot win in the 2022 midterms and getting to work. We at DemCast constantly hear: “Everything feels so chaotic. What can I do to make a difference?” Luckily, the answer is simple — Amplify. And we have the tools to help you.
If you are on social media and only have two seconds a day to help, follow us. If there’s an issue you care about, share it with your networks. Re-post, hashtag, retweet — two seconds. That’s it!
Given that we are in a war against disinformation, we need to build up our army of messengers. If all 81 million people who voted for Joe Biden joined us today, we could crush the nonsense from the bots and purveyors of falsehoods. Because the truth is that Democrats are fighting for:
- democracy
- ending the pandemic
- the freedom to vote
- civil rights
- climate action
- eliminating gun violence
- universal preschool
- a child tax credit
- paid family leave
- student loan assistance
- accountability for January 6
- affordable health care
- and a lot more!
We, the Democratic voters, need to shout from the rooftops about the accomplishments of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. They passed a bipartisan infrastructure bill in their first year after the previous administration failed to do so after trying for four years. Remember when the stock market was everything to the opposition? It has been at all-time highs this year, meaning 401(k)s are soaring and investors are wildly optimistic about the future. Wages are increasing; the job recovery continues; and unemployment is at its lowest level in 50 years. Let’s brag!
If you are lucky and have more than two seconds to help, volunteer for DemCast. We need writers, graphic artists, social media enthusiasts and experts, editors, and web posters to capture all the excitement we see on the ground.
Hope to “see” you soon!
