News From the Coconino County Democratic Party

County Fair!

We will have a large presence at the County Fair this weekend!  Stop by to say hello Friday through Monday (daylight hours only). Thanks to all the volunteers, led by Second Vice-Chair Allan Gerston, who are working the four-day event.

This is a chance to meet and visit with 2022 candidates! As of this publication, over the course of the weekend we’ll host these candidates:

  • Jeronimo Vasquez — County Supervisor
  • Cheryl Mango-Paget — County Superintendent of Schools
  • Diego Rodriguez — Arizona House member and candidate for Attorney General
  • Marco Lopez — Candidate for Governor
  • Aaron Lieberman — Candidate for Governor
  • Reginald Bolding – House Minority Leader and Candidate for Secretary of State
  • Adrian Fontes – Candidate for Secretary of State
  • Kris Mayes – Candidate for Attorney General
  • Lauren Kuby – Candidate for Corporation Commission

Here’s the schedule for candidate appearances.

Referenda petitions will be available for signature.


Coconino County Democratic Action Meeting

Our monthly meeting will continue on Zoom due to the status of COVID in our community. We meet every month on the second Saturday of the month. Please join us for this meeting, which will feature candidates, a report on DNC activities, and our quarterly business meeting.

Campaign for Voting Rights, Education, and Fair Taxation

Our petition drive continues. This weekend there will be tables in Doney Park, Ponderosa Trails, Buffalo Park, the Community Market, Leupp Flea Market as well as at the County Fair. Send your friends the announcements of these events. Thank you to our amazing volunteers!
