Last month the Missouri Supreme Court ruled the state must uphold the Medicaid Expansion Amendment passed by MO citizens in 2020. Today, a MO lower court ruled an immediate injunction prohibiting the state from denying coverage to the expanded population. And today, those eligible can enroll. While it will take time, you WILL get coverage.
If you are 138% below the federal poverty level, you now can acccess state healthcare. Depending on the size of your household, the following income #’s are used:
1 person: $12,880
2 person: $17,420
4 person: $26,500
How to Enroll:
1.) Visit https://mydss.mo.gov/healthcare/apply
2.) Apply using online, print, phone or portal applications.
3.) If applicable, fill out supplemental form.
4.) Submit by email, fax or mail.
