Rally for the For the People Act

It’s time to rally for the

For the People Act

Calling all defenders of democracy! It’s time to get loud.

Yesterday all 50 Senate Democrats voted to open debate on the For the People Act (S1), a transformative bill that would enact national standards to protect our freedom to vote. Not a single Republican voted for the motion to proceed–proof that their aim is to strip away our rights and freedoms.

But that will not be the end of this historic legislation. Waiting in the wings is a bold citizen mobilization campaign, and we are calling on each and every one of you to be a part of it. What our allies in the Senate tell us is simple: Our greatest chance for success will come if the Senate as a whole feels overwhelming public pressure to get this bill passed. So right now, at this very moment of the legislative fight, we need drama, we need media attention, and we need wide-scale public pressure.

That’s where we come in!

JOIN OUR INDIVISIBLE ALLIES FROM ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN PA AT THE LET FREEDOM RING RALLY TO SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY, Wednesday, June 30, 5:00 PM, Independence Mall, 5th and Market St. Sign up here.
