JUNE CCDP MEETING IN-PERSON THIS WEEK
As we announced last week, we will be returning to the Council Chambers at North Charleston City Hall for our first in-person county meeting in over a year this Thursday (6/17) at 6:30 PM. As a reminder, for those who have not been vaccinated or do not feel comfortable meeting in-person, we will have a hybrid option so you can still attend the meeting via Zoom. You can receive the Zoom link by RSVPing through the button below.
During this meeting, we will focus on voter registration discussions. We will also hear from our committees, area clubs, as well as the special guest speaker: SC State Senator Mia McLeod, who will join us via Zoom. Senator McLeod recently announced her 2022 campaign for Governor of South Carolina, the first African-American woman to do so. You can RSVP for the event through the button below. We look forward to seeing many of you in person!
SEEKING STAMPS!
We are getting busy reaching out to Democrats across the county by door knocking, calling, and by mail. Want to help out but don’t have time to volunteer? Donate some stamps! We need first class stamps for letters and (especially) lots of postcard stamps for our Postcards to Voters campaign!
The office is open each Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. If these times do not work, please email madelyne@charlestondemocrats.com to make other arrangements to drop off the stamps.
