Texting with Black Voters Matter
From Black Voters Matter: “May 8th was the National John Lewis Day of Action when Americans all over the country came together to demand the passage of the For the People Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and D.C. Statehood and to address one of the greatest obstacles to the passage of civil and voting rights – and one of the last vestiges of slavery – the filibuster! We’re reaching out to Black and other progressive voters in 7 states to encourage them to take action.”
ACT: Join BVM’s texting campaign to urge voters to contact their elected officials and urge them to do what it takes to pass all the democracy bills. Learn more/Sign up.
