CHARLESTON CITY PLAN FEEDBACK OPPORTUNITIES
The City of Charleston is seeking to finalize its Comprehensive Plan 2020 and wants feedback from the citizens of Charleston! There are a number of ways you can offer feedback:
- You can review all draft plan materials and send anonymous feedback through a form at charlestoncityplan.com/comment through May 9.
- There will be virtual feedback sessions, in which staff will present selections from the draft plan materials focused on each area of the city and then participants will be invited to take part in an open discussion and provide feedback.
- There will also be in-person pop-up feedback sessions, in which draft plan materials will be on display and staff will be available to discuss questions and concerns and listen to feedback. **Spanish-speaking staff will be present at all pop-ups.**
- Finally, if you can’t make it to one of the area-specific sessions above, you can come by city offices any Friday in April during normal office hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) to review displays of the draft plan materials and speak directly with staff. Drop by the Gaillard Center, 2 George St, at your convenience. Enter through the George Street entrance and turn right.
Please note that the plan is incomplete! It is still a work in progress and your feedback is critical as we finalize the full document.
You can find further information and all of the dates and locations of the events at the link through the button below.
