Take Action Today!
Return To Sender — we did that with the Vote-Suppressor-in-Chief, but so many of his ruinous legacies live on. That’s part of why we’re still doing the work. Another part: Black lives still matter. At traffic stops. In military uniform. In the suburbs, in the cities … This week’s action is about saving the US Postal Service, which may sound quaint until you realize: 58% of Biden voters voted by mail or absentee ballot in 2020. Which has everything to do with why enemies of democracy are out to destroy Americans’ favorite government agency.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered – Save the USPS
Deadline: Post haste –
Louis DeJoy is not the very model of a modern Postmaster General. Since the Banned-from-Twitter-in-Chief appointed him, he’s been trying to cancel many important US Postal Service functions like vote by mail. We’ve made it a priority to save the USPS! Our new action article tells you how to stamp out DeJoy with legislation and ways to expand Post Office services for the underserved — plus, you can get some great pro-P.O. art. One way to take action is below — check out the article for much more! And then you’ve got to wait a minute, wait a minute — don’t forget to spread the word! Help make sure neither snow nor rain nor heat nor DeJoy stays these couriers … Tell your members of Congress to support the DEJOY Act, to stop Louis DeJoy from gutting the Post Office:My name is _____, my zip code is _______, and I’m a member of Indivisible East Bay. I’m calling to urge _______ to support the DEJOY Act. We need the Post Office. It’s central to American democracy, and we can’t let Louis DeJoy destroy it.

We Could Not Make This Up
Play ball! There’s no voter suppression in baseball — Major League Baseball moved the All-Star Game out of Georgia because of the state’s barrage of hateful legislation, and the regular season for America’s favorite pastime has started up again, this time with actual spectators, so obvs it’s time for our faves Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Gym Jordan to chime in! They’ve floated what Forbes calls a “long-shot bill” to take away MLB’s antitrust protection. “Let me be clear, if you go woke, you go broke,” rhymes Boebert. Don’t hold your breath waiting to be named Poet Laureate, honey. We say: Yer (gonna be) Out!
