– Tell Facebook to step up! “The Georgia senate runoff elections are less than a month away, and poll workers, who are mainly Black women, are being harassed and threatened. Election poll workers are front-line defenders of our democracy and should not live in fear because they are public servants. Facebook already offers additional privacy and safety features to journalists and politicians but refuses to protect election workers. This is unacceptable. Write an email supporting RESOLUTION 7318 for social justice in Santa Paula. This action is for everyone: Residents of Santa Paula and Ventura County as well as folks in solidarity with Santa Paula. For instance, some people who live elsewhere have inserted “I have friends and family in Santa Paula.”Patricia Zavala and Margaux Bangs have organized a grassroots campaign supporting Resolution 7318 which seeks to establish a Santa Paula committee on equity and social justice. – CALL/EMAIL: Cobb County, GA, was the area most responsible for Biden’s win in that state. Therefore, it comes as no surprise, that the number of early election locations in that area has been slashed, with most of the damage happening in minority neighborhoods.
