Georgia Voter Mobilization Fund

A BIG Thank you!

We wrapped up our November fundraising for the Rev. Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and Fair Fight yesterday on Giving Tuesday. As of this morning, we raised over $44,000 for the “Georgia on My Mind” campaign. Thanks to everyone who has been passing on the fundraising messages to friends and family around the country. Donations have come in from every corner of our nation. The response to this appeal is proof that people understand how critical it is to flip the U.S. Senate seats in Georgia if Biden’s team is going to have a chance of tackling our nation’s problems.

December Spotlight
Georgia Voter Mobilization Fund

This month we’re digging deeper in our support of Georgia organizing, providing funds to four community groups that will turn out key but often overlooked parts of the democratic electorate, especially voters who don’t usually vote in run-off elections. We cannot stress enough how important this kind of local organizing is. It relies on trusted members of the community to conduct outreach, counter disinformation, and bring people together to build power and solve problems.

  • Georgia Shift mobilizes young voters across Georgia to build independent political power. They provide voter guides, help for voting by mail, student poll worker recruitment, and tools for civic engagement.
  • GALEO Impact Fund is a non-partisan group that strives for a better Georgia where the Latinx community is engaged civically and its contributions and concerns are recognized.
  • The Georgia Muslim Voter Project was founded to address anti-Muslim rhetoric in mainstream politics and the low rates of civic engagement in the Muslim community. They actively work with local mosques and community groups to increase voter registration and mobilization.
  • The Asian American Advocacy Fund advocates for the civil and human rights of Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Native Hawaiians in Georgia. They provide language support, help with registration and voter education.
