There’s just over a week until the final day of voting! Come to the General Meeting online TONIGHT to hear more about what we can all do to work for a landslide and to protect the results of the election.

This is it, the last general meeting before the election we have been working toward for four years. As we head into the final week, we will be gearing up for our final push to get out the vote and planning for protecting the results of the election in the event that Trump tries to pull any anti-democratic shenanigans.
Bring your friends to this special general meeting co-hosted with Sister District CA-3. We will need all hands on deck to ensure that there is a peaceful transition of power in 2021. Tell our Senators: NO right-wing extremist on the Supreme Court
A vote is expected this evening on appointing Trump’s right wing nominee to the Supreme Court. All Democratic Senators boycotted the Judiciary Committee vote, but Republicans moved ahead anyway. We need Senators Harris and Feinstein to fight even to the last minute and use any tactics available to delay the vote.

Call-a-palooza!
Beginning on Halloween, we’ll be hosting a 45-hour, Zoom-based “Call-a-Palooza” phonebank to get out the Democratic vote nationwide. On Saturday, Oct. 31, Sunday, Nov. 1, and Monday, Nov. 2, we’ll make calls from 7am to 8pm. And on Tuesday, Nov. 3., we’ll call from 7am to 1pm.
Volunteers can either call voters manually or use an auto-dial system using a Chrome browser. Training for inexperienced callers will be held at the top of every hour in Zoom breakout rooms.

I am calling to remind Senator Harris/Feinstein how critical it is to keep fighting against the confirmation of Trump’s extremist judge to the Supreme Court. A Supreme Court that includes Barrett could do so much damage to the hard-won gains made in reproductive rights, healthcare, LGBTQ rights, voting rights, environmental protections and much more. Please use every means possible to delay and block this confirmation until after the inauguration!
Additional for Sen. Feinstein: I’m disappointed that Sen. Feinstein lent false legitimacy to this sham Supreme Court process by praising the proceedings and hugging Lindsey Graham while neither was wearing a mask. It was a terrible example in the midst of the pandemic and boosted a GOP Senator in a tight race.
