Fact-Checking the Final Presidential Debate
In the final debate, Trump again unleashed a successive series of false, misleading, and exaggerated statements as he sought to distort former Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s record and positions to boost his own re-election hopes. The president once again relied heavily on well-worn talking points that have long been shown to be false.

More than 700 leading economists, including seven Nobel Prize winners, urge US voters to reject Donald Trump, a ‘selfish and reckless’ president
In the letter, they wrote that Trump’s “selfish and reckless behavior” has weakened the economy. “He has a poorly-informed, zero-sum view of economics that engenders needless viciousness and cruelty,” the economists wrote, and they describe Trump’s actions at the White House as a “sustained assault” on democracy.
In most states, wearing political statements to the polls will disqualify you from voting. With voter suppression rampant all over the country, the definition of “political statement” can be conveniently altered. It’s just not worth testing the waters – wear something neutral. You can change back into your Biden Harris shirt at home.
