We’re expanding to Iowa
The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the ensuing political skullduggery have brought out a new wave of volunteers, people who have a special interest in taking back the Senate and protecting the integrity of the Supreme Court. So we’re unofficially changing our campaign name to “Four States One Mission” and looking west to Iowa, where Theresa Greenfield has a good chance of unseating the deplorable Senator Joni Ernst. Starting this week and for the duration, we’ll be hosting Thursday evening phone banks in support of Greenfield and the whole Biden-Harris ticket. These sessions are recommended for volunteers who have phone banked with us a few times already. If you haven’t, take a training class and try our Michigan or Wisconsin phone banks first. See the schedules above.

Jon Hoadley for Congress
We’re wholeheartedly supporting Jon Hoadley’s run for the U.S. House in Michigan’s 6th congressional district, just over the border. A strong advocate of affordable health care and LGBTQ rights, Jon started visiting visiting us and other Indivisible Chicago chapters back when we were still having meetings (remember?), and we have been phone banking on his behalf for months. A popular state rep whose term is limited by Michigan law, he’s stepping up this year to challenge a 17-term incumbent Republican who votes against the Affordable Care Act every chance he gets. Hoadley is endorsed by NARAL, Planned Parenthood, the NEA, Sierra Club, and dozens of others, including Indivisible of course. We have joined forces with the Human Rights Campaign to support him with Thursday afternoon phone banks this week and next.
