Alarming admission from a key Republican

1 min read

Last night, GOP Senator Mitt Romney – widely considered a swing vote on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee – issued a statement calling Trump’s refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power “both unthinkable and unacceptable.”

…but he’s still calling for a vote on Trump’s nominee for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court.

Even though Republicans KNOW that Trump is openly threatening our democracy – and by his own admission, using this Supreme Court nomination to do it – they’re accepting it, as long as it helps them pass their right-wing agenda.

A Republican victory now would be nothing short of a catastrophe for the nation.

Not even 24 hours ago, Trump was asked to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses. He responded that if you “get rid of the ballots… there won’t be a transfer.”

But that’s not all he said yesterday: Asked whether confirming his nominee for the Supreme Court was part of his plan to challenge millions of lawful ballots, Trump agreed! In the event of “a four-four situation,” when his campaign takes his war on mail-in ballots to the Supreme Court, he said he wants a decisive 5th justice who will rule his way.

If you still needed proof of how crucial these next elections are, this is it: If Republicans are this hell-bent on grabbing power at all cost, then they ALL need to be defeated – in every single state.
