When PA House candidate Ann Marie Mitchell’s (PA-HD178) family became victims of her father’s domestic violence, she saw firsthand how important it was to remove her father’s guns from his custody.
And as a Marine veteran and retired teacher, Deb Ciamacca (PA-HD168) knows that arming teachers won’t make students safer.
Thanks to Republican control of the PA General Assembly and huge donations from the NRA, Pennsylvania still doesn’t have universal background checks, an assault weapons ban, or “red flag” laws.
But this year, a BIG BLUE WAVE is in striking distance of flipping both the PA House and Senate. Ann Marie, Deb, Marlene Katz (PA-HD28) Jonathan Kassa (PA-HD151), Lindsay Drew (PA-HD106), and Shanna Danielson (PA-SD31) will fight the NRA.
But they need your help to win.

Today’s highlighted candidates have long records as gun safety advocates.
Marlene Katz (PA-HD29) is an ordained minister who served as a National Faith Leader Mentor for Moms Demand Action.
Jonathan Kassa (PA-HD151) is a North Penn School Board director who has spent his career keeping students safe, helping pass laws protecting crime victims and strengthening campus crime reporting through the Clery Act.
Shanna Danielson (PA-SD31) volunteered for her local Moms Demand Action chapter and is running to unseat an NRA-backed incumbent.
Deb Ciamacca (PA-HD168)wrote in Time magazine against arming teachers: “A gun is a barrier that separates me from my students. It says stand back instead of stand up.”
Lindsay Drew (PA-HD106) is running to defeat a Republican with a 92% NRA rating.
Fight for stronger gun laws and flip seats red to blue!
