For years, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a moral compass, a beacon of hope, and most recently a firewall against encroaching injustices seeking to become entrenched as law.
Tonight, we lost a true American Hero, a model of decency, and a tireless champion for the rights of the unheard.
We will follow in her footsteps and we will rise to protect the future of democracy in her name. Tonight we mourn. Tomorrow we fight.
