First, let me welcome Senator Kamala Harris to the Democratic ticket. Vice President Joe Biden has chosen an excellent running mate, and our Chair, Steve Simeonidis issued a statement yesterday congratulating them and promising the full efforts of the Miami-Dade Democratic Party to get them elected in November.
But first, let’s get every last ballot in and counted for our August Primary!
There are now just 4 days left to vote: 3 full days of Early Voting, and then Election Day, Tuesday August 18. Remember, you can see our list of endorsed candidates for key races around Miami-Dade here: www.votefordemocrats.miami.
While we are seeing great numbers of Democrats sending in their Vote-By-Mail ballots, there are still over 100,000 Democrats who have not sent in their Vote-By-Mail ballots.
Remember, your ballot must be received at the Election Department by 7PM on Election Day, Tuesday, August 18.
With just 4 days left, we do not recommend mailing your ballot in. Instead, we recommend bringing your completed, sealed and SIGNED vote-by-mail ballot to any Early Voting site around Miami-Dade County during early voting times and drop it in the secure drop box (bring your ID, so an election worker can verify your ballot).
If you miss the early voting times, you can drop off your ballot on Monday, August 17 from 9am-5pm only at these two locations: Supervisor of Elections Office in Doral (2700 NW 87th Ave, Miami FL 33172), or the Stephen P. Clark Center (ballot box located directly outside East entrance: 111 NW 1st St. Lobby, Miami FL 33128).
On Election Day, Tuesday, August 18, the only locations where you can drop off completed Vote-By-Mail ballots are at the North Dade Regional Library, 2455 NW 183rd St, Miami Gardens, FL; the South Dade Regional Library, 10750 SW 211th St, Cutler Bay, FL 33189; or at the Elections Department headquarters or Stephen P. Clark Center. Hours are from 7am-7pm.
If you have any issues voting, remember the Florida Democratic Party’s voter protection hotline: 1-833-VOTE-FLA or (833) 868-3352.

Once you’ve voted, remember, you can check that your Vote-By-Mail ballot was counted by going to www.checkmyballot.miami.
We don’t want to wake up Wednesday morning asking ourselves if we could have done more for our candidates. We want to do everything we can to get Democrats elected in these key county races.
We are calling Democrats to get out the vote. Please join our weeks of action to get out the vote for our DEC endorsed candidates!

Become a Sustaining Donor
I can’t thank all of our sustaining donors enough for stepping up and pitching in a small amount each month. These sustaining donations allow us to plan the programs that will drive up voter turnout across our county. We couldn’t run our field program or our digital program without your support.
We know this is a tough time for many of us right now, so please know we appreciate you staying involved in any way that you can. Thank you for all you do.
