LGBTQ+ History Month in October
On Wednesday, September 11, the Miami-Dade School Board will once again take up the topic of whether to bring back recognition of LGBTQ+ History Month. The mental health struggles of LGBTQ youth are significant, and an inclusive curriculum has demonstrated to have a positive impact.
- Sign up to speak at the meeting. The speaker request form must be completed and returned via email to Request4Appearance@Dadeschools.net by Monday 9/9 at 4:30pm.
- Send a letter to School Board Members expressing your support.

Reproductive Freedom Rally at Bayfront Park
On Saturday, September 14 at 11am, pro-choice advocates from all across South Florida will be out in force to show their support for Amendment 4. A yes vote would prevent government interference in a woman’s right to an abortion prior to viability.
Join numerous organizations and local leaders like US Senate candidate Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried, and Mayor Daniella Levine Cava as we make our voices heard.
